Our Founder |
| |
Catie began her personal finance career as a stockbroker for a national securities
broker/dealer. As a stockbroker, she placed an emphasis on educating her clients
regarding the "how" and "why" of financial planning, helping them feel
confident to make their own financial decisions. In addition to her work
with her own clients, Catie conducted
monthly seminars open to the public to
provide an educational resource for
local women regarding personal finance
matters.
In 1996, Catie resigned from her
position as a stockbroker so she could
create Financially Savvy where she could
devote herself full-time to teaching
people how to manage their money.
Catie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics
from the University of California, Los
Angeles.
